Sasha Regan founded The Union Theatre in 1998. A studio venue that specilises in new writing and musicals. Ten years on she is proud to have established an award winning and highly acclaimed London venue.
The Union has just been nominated for the Peter Brook Awards 2008, to be announced on November 4th at The National Theatre Studio.
Regans directing credits include straight plays "We're all doing Time" (Critics Choice), new musicals "Chelinot" (The Sunday Times Critics Choice) and the restaging of theatrical classics "Cabaret" (described by NIcholas De Johgn as the definative version). Producing credits include; the very successful all-male G & S revivals (Critics Choice), Annie get your Gun ( Critics Choice) and The Pajama Game (Critics Choice). Last year Sasha was awarded The Stage One bursary for new Producers by The Society of London Theatres.
